New Nightmare




Argumento:


El séptimo capítulo de la historia del sanguinario Freddy Krueger marca el regreso a la saga de Wes Craven, director de la primera parte. Es un retorno lleno de autorreferencialidad: Craven se arriesga a hacer cine dentro del cine y convierte en víctimas del maléfico Freddy a los actores y técnicos -él, entre ellos- que se dedican a rodar los films de la serie.

Aunque un tanto pretenciosa, la obra mantiene el tono de entretenimiento típico del terror moderno y a la vez se hace tiempo para indagar filosóficamente acerca del papel del cine como punto de contacto entre la realidad y la fantasía.
